International perspective is increasingly in demand as more companies operate in more than one country and with culturally diverse clients and stakeholders. Employers need candidates that can adapt to working in this global market.
A recent study by the British Council shows that an international perspective (or as they call it: ‘intercultural skills’) will be recognised as a real benefit by employers,where-as they see it as a genuine risk to the business if employees lack these skills.
